Imphal, June 03: Troops of Red Shield Division today handed over a bus waiting shed to the people of Lamdan through its village headman during a colourful function today, said PIB (Defence Wing) in a statement.

The bus shed was constructed after the villagers approached the Army authority with the proposal for the shed, said PIB and added that the shed will provide shelter to the villagers while waiting for their bus.

Folk dance and cultural programmes were staged during the function.
