Imphal, June 02: A number of people from Senapati district headquarters including retired engineers, local pastors, students and social activists surveyed the picturesque Satim Pukhri atop the mountain range located about 13 kms from the district headquarters. Taking note of the pathetic road conditions as well as the neglected PHSC and Primary school at the area, the team decided to urge the Government to look into the woes of the area and take up necessary steps.

Surrounded by lush green mountain ranges, the beautiful Satim Pukhri also has historical significance. The local people said that tourists have to trudge along the rugged road to see the beautiful Pukhri and added that with the right initiative it could be converted to a tourists hot spot.
