Imphal, October 21: The JAC of Leikai Nipal, Kangjabi, today expressed strong condemnation at the Oct 19 firing incident at Kangjabi Leirak.

A JAC release said that unidentified gunmen after calling out one Nabakumar fired at Laikangbam Saratchandra�s (Chief conservator of Forest & younger brother of Nabakumar) front door after which four rounds were also fired in the courtyard as well as inside the house culminating with the smashing of TV and car.

The JAC, formed in the aftermath of the incident, also sought clarification and appealed to all concerned not to repeat such acts of terror in future.
