Imphal, February 26, 2010: MPCC president Gaikhangam has greeted the people of Manipur on the occasion of Yaoshang.

In his message, Gaikhangam said that Yaoshang festival celebrated in spring may bring new hope and ways to the people of Manipur.

He also wished that the bond of unity and harmony may grow stronger among the people of Manipur with this Yaoshang festival.

MP Dr T Meinya has also conveyed best wishes to the people of Manipur on the occasion of Yaoshang.

�Let this Yaoshang festival strengthen the bond of fraternity and among different communities of Manipur�, Dr Meinya said in his greeting.
