Imphal, May 21: Highlighting that ongoing ceasework strike by employees had been severely affecting health care system in the state, PRO IGAR (S) in a statement informed of Mantripukhri based 4 Assam Rifles under the IG AR (S) having administered polio drops to children today.

While parents in the State took their children for polio drops but returned home dejected, the AR team went ahead with their limited available stock of pulse polio drops to serve the children at the unit hospital, said the statement.

It further conveyed of Captain (Dr) AK Shivastva and Asst Comdt (Dr) Nirupama Devi of 4 AR expressing concern that owing to the ceasework agitation children's health campaign has been neglected.
