Imphall, February 18, 2010: An old fisherman was said to have drowned while fishing in the famous Zeilad Lake on February 16, a delayed report said.

The Zeilad Lake is situated at Zeiladjang village in Tousem Sub- Division of Tamenglong district.

The deceased fisherman was identified as one Bilai of Zeiladjang village.

It is reported that the boat on which he was fishing got filled with water and capsized drowning him to death in the middle of the lake.
