Imphal, August 14 2010: A musical and performing arts programme christened "Shared Solace � One Day of Contemporary Folk Music and Images" would be organised by the Burning Voices in collaboration with Manipur Research Forum and e-pao at SSS 1 Auditorium, JNU, New Delhi on August 21 .

The programme would feature Guru Rewben Mashangva and his son Saka Mashangva, HR Experience (Vikram Chongtham), H Kom (Stoney), Imphal Talkies N The Howlers and The Songs of Mashangva, a film produced and directed by Oinam Diren, said a press release issued by the Burning Voices.

The programme is aimed at finding some solace in reaffirmation of shared culture and vision in the face of continuing violence and unrest in the North East region.
