Imphal, Aug 07: Two persons were nabbed by 24 AR of Khudengthabi along with about 800 grams of heroin worth Rs one crore in the international market today, said the PRO of AR release.

The apprehended persons identified as Lamkholet (45) of Sugnu and L Unimocheng (20) were reportedly going to Imphal from Moreh in a passenger bus (MN 01/1286) when they arrested.

Both of them have been handed over to Customs Department with the seized heroin, it added.

On the other hand, 873 kgs (41 nos of compressed blocks) of ganja were recovered by Customs officers of Divisional Preventive Force, Customs Division, Imphal today morning from a thatched hut situated inside a bushy area, about 4 kms away from Uyumpok village, informed a press release issued by Customs Division, Imphal.
