Imphal, December 17: A emergency meeting of the Board of Directors of Imphal Urban Co-operative Bank was held today to discuss the news reports on alleged fraudulent withdrawal of money from the bank.

Informing this in a statement, general manager of the Bank K Lukhoi Singh maintained that true of the matter was different.

The money from the bank had been withdrawn against the security of the passbook without affecting the recurring deposit amount.
