Imphal, September 10: The 27th State level student's science seminar for students of class X on the topic A Century of Physics : Achievements and Challenges organised by Directorate of Education-S was held on September 9 at GM hall with former Vice Chancellor Dr IS Khaidem and Dean, School of Sciences Dr C Amuba Singh as chief guest and president respectively.

Jiribam Higher Sec School, student K Bijendra Singh was adjudged the best performer and has been selected to represent the State in the National Level Seminar at Mumbai on October 4.SSA training: The ten day Induction Training for volunteer of Education Guarantee Scheme under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan held at BRC, Kangpokpi High School concluded today with State Coordinator (EGS&AIE, SSA, Manipur) L Thoiba Singh, DIET Senapati Principal Indubala Devi and Kangpokpi ZEO/APO Ngahchong Kipgen as chief guest, guest of honour and functional president respectively of the valedictory programme.
