Imphal, January 28 2010: The 6th death anniversary of Thoudam Nilamani was observed today at Manipur Dramatic Union (MDU) Hall, Yaiskul under the aegis of Thoudam Nilamani Singh Memorial Trust.

Offering floral tribute to the portrait of Nilamani marked the observance programme.

The programme was graced by MP (Inner Manipur), Dr Th Meinya, former Chief Minister, W Nipamacha and former Minister, Prof Gangmumei Kamei as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Th Meinya noted the dwindling of discipline among the youths while stressing on the need to maintain discipline in all fronts.

On the light of the the recent assault of referees by sportspersons, he said that discipline is lacking in the sporting fields too.
