Imphal, February 26, 2010: Newly constructed temple of Lainingthou Awang Koubru and a community hall named Lainingthou Awang Koubru community hall have been inaugurated by Lamsang A/C MLA W Brajabidhu at Khonghampat Awang Leikai today.

The community hall was constructed at the cost of Rs 11 lakhs, out of which Rs 9.20 lakh was funded by Manipur Development Society while the remaining amount was produced by the construction committee.

The temple was built from the contributions made by around of 300 households of Khonghampat Awang Leikai.

The plot for the temple was donated by the Khonghampat Pisciculture Farming Cooperative Society.
