Imphal, August 25:
The Zeliangrong Students' Union is continuing its agitation of picketing all the Government offices in the district headquarters of Tamenglong although the student body has relaxed blockade on NH-52 after the Government agreed to hold talk today, reports our correspondent.
The main demands of the student body include handing over the road construction works of Tousem-Keiphundai and Tamenglong to BRO.
Meanwhile, no untoward incident has been reported from the Barak Circle of Jiribam where communal tension is prevailing between the Meiteis and the Muslim after a Muslim man allegedly molested a Meitei girl, the report added.
