Imphal, February 10:
Affirming that United Komrem Revolutionary Army is keen to ensure free and fair polling to voters of Komrem villages scattered under Henglep and Saikot assembly constituencies, the armed outfit said it would take all possible steps to protect rights of Komrem electorates.
The outfit, in a statement issued by its information secretary, also conveyed to all concerned that no election campaign should be held in certain areas without its prior approval.
Expressing that UKRA would embrace the path of friendship and cordial relationship amongst all the ethnic communities, the statement also urged the general public and other organisations to extend cooperation to UKRAs endeavour.
