Imphal, November 06: Following the transfer of existing staff from the Kasom Khullen PHC, there was not singe staff in the PHC currently, said a press release issued by the Kasom Khullen Sub-Division Development Association.

With no staff at the PHC, the health centre has almost become non-functional thereby adding woes to the people of the area.

Due to non-availability of medical facilities even for common ailments, one ST Theingaila (45) w/o St Aring of Kasom Khullen of malaria on November 2.Moreover, many people are suffering from various ailments with no medical facility in the area, disclosed the release.

Taking account of such hardships being endure by the people, the Kasom Khullen Sub-Division Development Association has appealed to the authority concerned to redress the grievances of the people immediately.
