Lamka, February 01: As was announced earlier, a conglomerate of various armed group, the United Peoples Front (UPF) today issued a model code of conduct for political parties and candidates in the ensuing Assembly election.

A communiqu� of the front today claimed that mobilizing volunteers, use of money power, carrying weapons � be it licensed ones, using of loud speakers after 8 pm, mobile campaign, booth rigging or capturing and indulgence in criminal and deceitful means besides canvassing of votes in the name of tribe/clan will completely be prohibited during the election.
