Imphal, March 03: Salaries and pensions of State employees for the month of February may be allowed to encash after the Holi festival even if the order for the salaries is issued before the festival.

Taking into account of the strong probability of RBI imposing ban on withdrawal if the salaries and pensions are allowed to encash now, the State Govt is considering to issue the order for salaries on March 13 and permission for encashment on March 20.It is reported that the Government is striving to issue the salaries and pensions in time provided the condition of Wage and Means improves.
