Imphal, September 15: Like their counterparts in part of the country Airport Authority Employees� Union, Imphal branch observed Mass Mobilization Day today to protest Government of India�s plan to privatise selected airports.

Today�s protest is part of the agitation programme adopted by Airports Authority Employees� Union to denounce Central Government�s proposal to entertain private corporations take over some selected airports.

Representatives of the Imphal branch recalled of employees having staged mass demonstration on august 29 and observance of �Protest Week� from September 5 while informing today�s agitation as the third of the stir programme.

A protest rally with slogans denouncing airport privatisation policy and pamphlets distribution marked today�s agitation.
