Imphal, August 30: As part of the celebration of its Raising Day which falls on October 19, the Manipur Police Department would be organising an essay competition for students of class IX to XII at Tamphanasa Girls' Higher Secondary School an GP Women's College, Imphal on September 14 .

The competition will carry first prize of Rs 15000, second prize of Rs 10,000 and third prize of Rs 5000 .
