MSF warns Education bodies

Imphal, September 29: Maintaining that a large chunk of Government teachers are being deputed as officials in some Government Departments, Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) urged SCERT, Adult Education, Board of Secondary Education Manipur, Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur and other departments to send the teachers back to their respective schools.

The students' body had conducted a survey of the Government schools, said MSF and added, they had come across the shortage of teachers in most of the schools as many teachers have been deputed to various Departments by greasing the palms of higher authorities.

As shortage of teachers will hamper bringing of quality education, MSF warned, these teachers must be sent to their respective schools failing of which various agitatations would be initiated.
