Imphal, August 28: The 25th foundation of Union of Social Upliftment, Khurai was celebrated at Lainingthou Awangba Laibung, Khurai Thangjam Leikai today.

Along with Deputy Speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly Th Shyamkumar, a battery of MLAs, namely Dr Bijoy, Moirangthem Okendro, Th Nandakishore, K Meghachandra and Doukhongmang and president of Union of Social Upliftment Th Tikeshore were presidium members of the function.

A souvenir of the Union was also released to mark its 25th anniversary.
