Imphal, December 24: Pou Lanbon Kabui who has been conferred with the Dr Ambedkar Fellowship Award was felicitated in a simple organised jointly by Kabui Mothers� Association Manipur (KAMA) and Zeliangrong Union at the latter�s office complex, informed a KAMA release.

The felicitation function was graced by vice-chairman of Zeliangrong Cultural Council Poujailung Thaimei and KAMA president Kakomlunglu Kamei as chief guest and functional president respectively.

Lanbon Kabui was also conferred the Padma Devi Award last year.

Besides being a writer, Lanbon Kabui is a social worker, a cultural exponent and a philanthropist, added the release.
