Imphal, August 24:
A permanent vehicle check post of 44 Assam Rifles seized 90 litres of country made liquor from a vehicle today at about 10.10 am.
Three persons were held in connection with the seizure, said the AR PRO and identified them as Jangkhothang of Chandel, Lailon village, Thangoe of Chelpe village, Chandel and Kaikhoken of Pherbun village, Chandel.
The liquor was destroyed in the presence of meira paibis.
