Imphal, December 23: Coming out strongly against the alleged unprovoked attack launched by PLA cadres on its cadres between Kamuching and Nongpok Keithelmanbi area, Kuki National Front (KNF) has demanded a clarification in this connection.

In a statement, information and publicity secretary of the outfit LH Stephen said KNF is against use of heavy weaponry and explosives by PLA cadres on civilian population of Bongbal Khullen area and warned that such actions may cause communal riots among different communities living in the State and hasten disintegration of Manipur.

The Front also flayed the alleged disrespect and lack of concern shown toward the Kuki community by the PLA cadres.

The Front would not sit idle and watch the people suffer but do anything to restore and maintain pace in the area, Stephen added.
