CADA seize 131 litres of liquor

Imphal, February 22: Under the aegis of Committee on Anti-Drugs and Alcohol, activists of All kakching Khunou Meira Paibi Welfare Association and Thoubal District United Women Development Organisation nabbed five persons and seized 131 litres of country liquor and alcohol brewing substances on February 19, said a CADA release issued today.

The apprehended persons have been identified as Thokchom Birendro (30) s/o Th Biramani; Thokchom Ibungo Singh (30) s/o th Pishak; Huidrom Tombi (30) s/o H Gambhir; Thokchom Saitya Singh (40) s/o Th Laingam; and Yengkhom Gaurabidhu (40) s/o Y Mani.

With the exception of Y Gourabidhu, who is from Thongnam Awang Leikai.
