Imphal, November 20:
People for Animals, Imphal West District Unit has expressed its gratitude to Oinam Jayanta of Sagolband Salam Leikai for handing over a bird, Great Crested Grebe (scientific name Podiceps Cristatus, Local name Kumphengbi today.
In a statement, managing trustee of the animal rights body informed that the said bird would be released to its natural habitat after a full medical treatment.
