NREGS under scan in Tamenglong

Tamenglong, February 20, 2010: The district administration has been scanning the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, NREGS in the villages of Tamenglong going from door to door seeking the job card holders' mode and data without informing the Village Authority.

Apart from collection data and mode of the job card holders the Sub-Divisional Officer/ Programme Officer NREGS also conducting social audit together with the job card holders continued from village to villages.

Regarding the Tamenglong Bock, apart from collecting data and mode of the Job card holders the SDO C Arthur W IAS joint the social audit together with the job card holders to give awareness about the NREGS.

He had joint at Model village, Namlalong village and Guigailong village today and yesterday.

At these villages C Arthur W, IAS, SDO, Tamenglong advised them to know their rights and works the schemes with sincerity and transparency.
