Imphal, February 13:
Hong Kong based human rights body Asian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) has taken serious note over the alleged incident of shooting of a person by the Border Security Forces (BSF) at Nongok Sekmai while he was walking past a security post with his hands up in a line along with six other friends.
In a statement made available to the press, the human rights alleged that the seriously injured victim was taken to the military camp instead of a hospital thereby resulting in his death.
In yet another incident of discriminate firing by the BSF two other persons were also seriously injured, the statement said drawing the attention of the authorities concerned for intervention in this case.
