Imphal, December 08 2010: The Working Women fourm Manipur, Imphal will be organizing a one day convention on December 11, Saturday, to discuss the demands of Asha Worker Federation, at Irabot Bhavan, Imphal, stated a press release of the forum today.

The Asha Workers Federation which is a national body of Asha workers under the National Rural Health Mission is demanding fixed minimum wages and social security coverages.

The convention will start from 11.30 am.

Health and Family Welfare Minister, Ph Parijat will grace the convention as chief guest.

President, All India Trade Union Congress, Manipur, Dr M Nara will be the function's president.
