Imphal, May 07: A three-day workshop cum training programme on 'Implementation of RCH-II' has begun from today at the conference hall of CVTC located at Palace Compound.

The workshop is being organised by Family Planning Association of India, Manipur Project.

Ex-Minister RV Mingthing, founder of Family Planning Association of India, Manipur Project H Surendrakumar and Project chairman Y Baskardev inaugurated the workshop cum training programme as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Around 60 participants belonging to Chandel and Churachandpur district have been attending the workshop cum training programme.

On the first day of the programme today, Prof Ladu Singh of Manipur University and Dr L Suresh Singh delivered lectures on various topics.
