Imphal, November 01: Personnel of 32 Assam Rifles have apprehended three UNLF cadres and seized two motorcycles from different locations on october 30 and today.

According to a statement of IGAR (S) two UNLF cadres were nabbed when a mobile check post of the AR intercepted a motorcycle (MNE/1606) at Patsoi on october 30.The arrested persons, subsequently handed over to Imphal West PS today, have been identified as Leishangthem Nanao (30) s/o L udoi of Tera Bazar and Inao Meitei alias Tiken (34) s/o (L) T Gopal of Sagolband Salam Leikai.

The third UNLF cadre identified as P sunil Singh alias Kanglasa alias Boiler (27) s/o P Gojen of Kwakeithel Mayai Koibi is informed to be a self style corporal of the outfit.

Sunil, who was arrested at Tera Makhong today, has been handed over to Lilong police station along with a motorcycle (MN05/7531) seized from him.
