Imphal, June 14: More than seven hundred used syringes and needles including injecting materials with cooker (thitter), used covers of SP and Dendrites have been reportedly recovered during Operation G21 (Gun-Syringe 2 ml and 1 ml) launched jointly by members and supporters of SASO, SASEHN Forum, widows of IDUs, ex-drug users, current users and media personnel as part of the month-long HIV/AIDS awareness campaign.

The operation began from Lalambung Ching at about 8 am today and the team went on picking used syringes and needles from North AOC Sulabh, Namthikik, Imphal river bank between Minuthong and New Checkon.
