Imphal, January 03: Taking into account unseasonal rainfall and imposition of general strike the deadline for completion of repairing/black topping of Tiddim Line road from Maibam Lokpa Ching till phubala has been extended till january 10, according to a press release of All india Students' Federation, Bishnupur district council.

The student body alleging that several portion of the ongoing work is not up to the mark (sub-standard) drew the attention of authority concerned to ensure that quality control in maintained failing which the department officials and contractor/s would be held responsible.

further reminding authority concerned on the new deadline asserted that the said works should be completed within the extended period with strict compliance to standard norms.
