Imphal, June 29: Suspected Kuki militants waylaid and abducted the drivers and handymen of two goods landen trucks coming from Dimapur towards Imphal at Keithelmanbi under Kangpokpi police station today at about 10.30 am.

The trucks were later found abandoned near Keithelmanbi bazar.

The trucks have been retrieved by the police.

Police sources gave the registration numbers of the two trucks as MN05/2661 and MN 05/ 2207.The drivers and handymen of the two vehicles were abducted and taken towards Saikul side, said sources.
