Imphal, September 30: The Vaiphei People�s Council has strongly condemned the killing of SL Soineimang Vaiphei (48) on the night of September 28 at his New Checkon residence and demanded to know the identity of the killers.

Such act of killing is an act of cowardice and shall not bring communal harmony among the people of Manipur.

Instead, it shall yield greater enmity, the Council president said, while appealing to all concerned not to repeat such act in future.
