Imphal, April 29:
Two teenaged boys were killed in two unrelated road mishaps that occurred in different parts of the State.
In the first incident, a 13year old cyclist boy passed away en-route to RIMS Hospital where he was being brought for treatment after a Tata truck knocked him down at Heirok Part-II Thokchom Bazar at around 7 am today.
The young victim has been identified as Thokchom Hemanta (13) s/o Tombisana of Heirok Part-II Thokchom Leikai.
The body has been handed over to family members after post-mortem at RIMS morgue.
In the other incident, a student who has been undergoing treatment at Shija Hospital of the injuries he sustained after the bus in which they were going on a excursion was rammed into at the turning point of Waithou on April 25 succumbed to the injuries today morning.
The deceased is identified as Md Ajkar Ali (14) s/o Md Jiyauddin of Kshetri Bengoon Leikai.
The post-mortem of the body was conducted at RIMS Hospital and later handed over to the bereaved family members.
