Imphal, June 27: The Governor has constituted the 'State Alliance Against Hunger' under instruction from the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India with the primary objective of mobilizing political will, technical expertise and financial resources to reduce hunger in the State.

Secretary (FCS) has been appointed chairman of the Alliance, informed a release by Principal Secretary FCS P Sarat Chandra.
