Imphal, August 25: Continuing with the protest demand against detention of four AMADA activists, AMADA supporters staged protest sitting at different places of Imphal East and Imphal West today.

They also burnt effigies of Chief Minister O Ibobi, Health Minister Ph Parijat and the OC of Lamlai police station with the slogan "Release AMADA activists without any condition or arrest us too".

Protest sittings were staged today at Puleiromba Keithel, Wangkhei Keithel Ashangbi, Porompat (in front DDK Imphal office), Bashikhong Panthoibi Bazar, Liwa Lambi Khongnangkhong Keithel, and Mongshangei School Leirak.

In all these venues of protest sittings, effigies of Chief Minister O Ibobi, Health Minister Parijat and Lamlai PS OC were set ablaze.
