Imphal, October 24 2008: Sagolband Jiri Rickshaw Parking Committee celebrated its second foundation anniversary today with presentation of gifts to inmates of Tera Destitute Children's Home and honouring the Committee's elderly members and well-discipline rickshaw pullers being the highlight of the celebration.

The celebration of the Committee, which functions under the aegis of All Manipur Rickshaw Drivers' and Pullers' Welfare Association, was held at the Tera institute with the parent body's president presiding the occasion. The Committee also conveyed its warm wishes on the arrival of the Ningol Chakkouba festival.
