Imphal, August 24:
Continuing with the demand for unconditional and immediate release of the four AMADA activists being detained currently, women AMADA supporters today stormed Moirang police station.
Earlier in the day, the protesters staged a protest sitting at Moirang Lamkhai during which effigies of Chief Minister O Ibobi, Health Minister Ph Parijat and the OC of Lamlai police station were set ablaze.
Similar protest agitation were staged in the surrounding areas of Moirang Lamkhai.
At Sagang Keithel, AMADA supporters staged sit-in-protest and burnt effigies of Ibobi, Parijat and Lamlai PS OC.
