Imphal, November 19:
A crucial meeting of Unapproved Primary Teachers' Association (UPTA), Chandel district was held at the district headquarters of Chandel today and resolved to intensify the goingong Pallel-Moreh and Pallel-Chandel road blockade until the Government gives into the demand of the Association.
The meeting has also unanimously resolved to intensify its agitation against the Chairman and CEO of ADC, Chandel with effect from November 22 along with lodging strong complaint against all the authorities concerned, according to a statement issued by convernor/chairman of UPTA, which has also asked all the unapproved primary teachers to gather at Komlathabi on November 20 at 7 am.
