Imphal, October 18 2008: A meeting of all the chiefs and secretaries of villages of Sajik area was organised by 8 AR of 26 Sector under Hqs IG AR (S) on October 16 at Sajik Tampak, informed an AR PRO release.

The chiefs and secretaries brought up various problems faced by them such as poor road condition, lack of basic amenities of drinking water, medical facilities, electricity etc.

The Commandant 8 AR advised on the proper utilisation of NREGS funds allotted to villages for the developmental activities and stressed on the need to maintain peace and harmony in the area, added the release.
