Imphal, February 18, 2010: A joint mass rally cum public meeting on February 20 is being planned by the New Life Foundation, Thamnapokpi, Moirang Women Group against Discrimination, Moirang, Social Action Platform, Bishnupur, United Community Development Platform, Moirang, NEWS Kumbi, Child Welfare Committee, Bishnupur and other NGOs, CBOs and Pos regarding the recent unabated spate of rape and murder and child trafficking in Manipur.

The proposed rally will start from Multipurpose Higher Secondary School, Moirang ad will proceed towards Moirang Bazar and will be concluded at INA complex where a public meeting will follow by, said secretary of New Life Foundation, Manipur L Pishak in a statement.
