A meeting of the Sawombung District Congress Committee presided over by its president Ch Kunjo was held at the residence of Thoidingjam Jogimohon.
The meeting expressed its gratitude to MPCC president Gaikhangam for having appointed Kunjo as president and W Lalmani as vice president.
The meeting also unanimously resolved to set up an office of the Committee at Khurai.
