Imphal, November 06: In conjunction with the 7th National conference of Indian Association of Lawyers scheduled from December 21 to 23 at Cochin, an all India essay competition will be held for young lawyers (up to 7 years of practice) on the topic "Constitution of India, globalisation and role of lawyers", informed a press release issued by the Indian Association of Lawyers, Manipur State Committee.

Another similar essay competition for Law students on the topic "Changing pattern of legal profession and legal education".

Entries for both the categories should reach IAL Conference, 57/885, Thamarassery Building, Mullassery Canal Road, Ernakulam, Cochin-682011, Kerala by November 10.Young lawyers should enclose enrolment certificate and certificate from the Bar Association while the law students should enclose certificates from the head of their respective institutions, mentioned the release.
