Imphal, Aug 06: While asserting that A Ramananda Singh s/o late A Bobo Singh who had been picked up by Army personnel from his own house at around 11 pm on August 2 is an innocent person and a dedicated social worker of the area apart from being the secretary (Games) of Tiddim Road Unique Gamy Players Union, Nambol, the Union has appealed for his early and unconditional release.

In a statement, Union general secretary warned that all the players of the area with the support of the people would be taking recourse to intense agitation if Ramananda is not set free by August 7.
