Imphal, Aug 02: Indo-Japan Friendship Association, Manipur (IJFAM) Chapter and Centre for Peace Education, Manipur would be jointly observed the Hiroshima remembrance day on August 6 at Nupi Lal Memorial complex hall, Imphal.

An on the spot painting competition for children would be organised along with the remembrance ceremony in the morning session of the observance function.

MLAs Dr M Nara Singh and Th Tomba Singh would grace the function as chief guest and guest of honour respectively and it would be presided over by IJFAM president S Rajmani Sharma.

In the afternoon session, a seminar on the theme of Peace in Education would be conducted during which Dr L Leiren Singh and W Bhumeswar Singh would be presetting papers.
