Imphal, Jun 01: Grateful for the speedy development work of IT road from Tamei to Chalwa ( 51.5 to 70 km), the Zeliangrong Union, Tamei Zone on behalf of general public of Tamei area and the passengers along the road has expressed its sincere gratitude to special contractor L Saratchandra and others responsible for the road development work which has been lying untended for the last 20 years.

A statement issued by ZU Tamei Zone said that the special contractor was also involved in clearing landslides off 10 different sites of the road in between Govajang and Tamei.

It further appealed to all concerned not to impede the development work in any form.
