Imphal, January 03: Nungba Area Women's Welfare Organisation has extended its gratitude to Nungba SDO N Praveen Singh, MCS and SDC Kajaigai Gangmei for the endeavour to develop the sub-division.

In a statement Organisation president K Gaikhuanliu Gangmei gave the credit of reviving the Tongjei Marin Road from Taodaijang to Nungba after three decades as well as for construction of many intervillage roads, water tanks, public toilets, etc to the two officers.

The women's body further thanked local MLA and Power Minister Gaikhangam and DC of Tamenglong district Thaithuilung Panmei, IAS for having constructed Nungba to Mukti Road, SDO office and quarters, community hall, high school building, Community Health Centre, etc.
