Imphal, October 30 2008: Noted writer MK Binodini Devi would be honoured with the conferment of the first 'Life Time Achievement Award for Women'.

The award is being instituted under the joint aegis of Young Voluntary Organisation, Wangkhei and Manipur State Women's Development Co-operation to honour Manipuri women involved in the field of art and literature.

The annual award would be presented every year on Ningol Chakkouba Day, said president of the Wangkhei Organisation LC Ruhinikumar while adding that MK Binodini would be honoured at Asha Hall tomorrow.

The award carries Rs 10,000, shawl and citation.
